Lisa Edelstein, an American actress best recognized for her role in House, a Fox medical drama series. She grew up in Wayne, in a conservative Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18, she moved into New York City to study at Tisch School for the Arts. However, very quickly she began to be involved in the city's club scene, and was able to make enough headlines to be noticed by the press, while also becoming aware of the devastation of AIDS. In the end, she utilized her education and fame to compose and write the musical Positive Me as well as to appear in the film. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she hosted on MTV was soon her task. After the show ended the show, she began appearing on television and film productions, initially in smaller roles, and slowly established herself as an actor.
